CALIFORNIA teen Rebecca Black became a trend on Twitter after hersong Friday broke into the Top 100 singles on iTunes.
The 13-year-old became the latest internet singing sensation tobreak into the mainstream spotlight when Friday was viewed more thanseven million times in its first five days on YouTube.
Black has been dubbed the next Justin Bieber by fans but has alsobeen heavily criticised for the song's unimaginative lyrics and her"monotone" singing, with some even questioning if the music video isa hoax.
