Data from Peking University, Institute of Molecular Medicine advance knowledge in breast cancer.

A report, 'An estrogen receptor alpha suppressor, microRNA-22, is downregulated in estrogen receptor alpha-positive human breast cancer cell lines and clinical samples,' is newly published data in The FEBS Journal. "Previous studies have suggested that microRNAs (miRNAs) may play important roles in tumorigenesis, but little is known about the functions of most miRNAs in cancer development.
