Qld: Suspect SARS case cleared
A man has been been released from a Brisbane Hospital after being cleared of havingSevere Acute Respiratory Syndrome.
The man, aged in his early 20s, was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital from a city motelabout 1.30 am (AEST) when he became ill with SARS-like symptoms -- including a high feverand shortness of breath.
The man had recently travelled to Canada, Singapore and Japan.
A Royal Brisbane Hospital spokeswoman says the man's been released after undergoingextensive tests for SARS.
SARS has infected 4,630 people worldwide, and killed around 261.
